WaveBit Studios (“WaveBit Studios”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is the trading name used by an independent
individual mobile application developer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We design and publish mobile games
and utility applications on Google Play.
This Privacy Policy explains what information our applications collect, why we collect it, who it is shared
with, and what choices you have. It applies to every mobile application published by WaveBit Studios (each, an
“App”), unless a particular App displays its own separate privacy notice, in which case that notice applies to
that App.
By downloading, installing or using any of our Apps, you confirm that you have read and understood this
Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use our Apps.
2. Our approach, in short
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve our Apps:
Some Apps may allow or require you to create an account or sign in to access certain features. Where an
App provides account functionality, we may collect information such as your name, email address,
authentication information, and a unique user ID associated with your account. Apps that do not provide
account functionality do not require you to create an account or sign in.
We do not read your SMS or MMS messages, contacts, call logs, call recordings, emails or personal files.
We do not collect your precise GPS location.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Our Apps do display advertisements and do use analytics and crash reporting, and those services collect
limited technical and usage information as described in sections 3, 5 and 6.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us voluntarily
Depending on the App and the features you use, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name,
email address, account credentials or authentication information, and information submitted when contacting us
for support or privacy requests.
If an App provides account functionality, this information may be used to create and manage your account,
provide account-based features, synchronize applicable App progress or settings where supported, and maintain
account security.
When you contact us for support, to report a bug, to ask a question, or to exercise a privacy right, we may
receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include in your message. We use this
information to respond to you and resolve the issue you raised.
3.2 Account and authentication information
Some Apps may use Google Firebase Authentication or other authentication services to provide account creation
and sign-in.
Depending on the authentication method and the App, we may process information such as your email address,
display name or name, authentication provider information, and a unique user identifier assigned to your
account.
We use this information to authenticate users, create and manage accounts, provide account-based App
functionality, synchronize applicable App data where supported, maintain account security, and prevent
unauthorized access or abuse.
Authentication providers and other third-party services may process information in accordance with their own
privacy policies.
3.3 Information collected automatically
When you use an App, the third-party services we integrate, such as Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics,
Firebase Crashlytics, and where applicable Firebase Authentication or other service providers, may collect or
process information as described below. The exact information processed depends on the features and services
used by the particular App.
Advertising and device identifiers — the Google Advertising ID (AAID) and/or App Set ID assigned by your
device. These are resettable identifiers; they are not your name and they are not permanent.
Device and technical information — device model, manufacturer, operating system version, system language,
region setting, screen size, available memory, and network connection type.
App usage information — when an App is opened and closed, session length, screens or levels viewed,
features used, in-app events, and how you interact with adverts (for example, whether an advert was
displayed, viewed or clicked).
Diagnostic and crash information — crash reports, error logs, stack traces and the state of the device at
the moment a crash occurred, so that we can fix faults.
IP address and approximate location — your IP address, from which an approximate location (typically
country, state or city level) may be derived in order to serve locally relevant adverts and comply with
regional laws. We do not collect precise or GPS-based location.
3.4 Information we do not collect
Unless a particular App specifically provides a feature that requires it, our Apps generally do not collect,
access, read, store or transmit the following categories:
Your contacts or address book.
Your SMS or MMS messages, call logs, call recordings, or email content.
Your photos, videos, documents or other files, except where a specific App offers a feature that requires
it (for example, saving an image the App created to your gallery). Where such a feature exists, the App asks
for your permission at the moment you use it, and the files are processed on your device only.
Precise GPS location.
Hardware identifiers such as IMEI, IMSI, ICCID, ESN or MAC address.
Your payment card number, bank details, UPI ID or any other financial account information.
Biometric information, health information, or government identification information.
4. In-app purchases
Some Apps offer optional one-time in-app purchases, such as removing advertisements or buying in-game coins
or items.
All purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. You enter your payment details with Google, not
with us. We never see, receive, collect or store your card number, bank details, UPI ID, CVV or billing
address.
From Google we may receive a purchase token, order identifier, product identifier and purchase status. We use
these only to deliver the item you bought, to restore your purchase if you reinstall the App, and to detect
fraudulent or invalid transactions.
Refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance with Google’s refund policy and applicable law. Please see
section 5 of the Terms and Conditions below.
5. Advertising
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in our Apps. AdMob is our only advertising provider. If this
changes, we will update this policy and list any new provider here before the change takes effect.
Advert formats may include banners, interstitials, rewarded adverts and native adverts. To select, deliver,
cap the frequency of, and measure the performance of adverts, AdMob may use your advertising identifier
together with the technical and usage information described in section 3.
5.1 Personalised and non-personalised adverts
In our general-audience Apps, adverts may be personalised based on your interests as inferred by Google,
where you have consented to this and where local law permits. Where consent is required (for example, in the
European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), a consent message is shown and you may choose non-personalised
adverts instead.
In our Apps that are directed to children, and whenever a user is identified as being under the applicable
age of consent, only non-personalised adverts are served. See section 7 for more information.
5.2 Your advertising choices
You can limit advert personalisation at any time on your device:
On Android: Settings › Google › Ads, then choose “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads
Personalisation”.
You can also reset your advertising ID at any time, which disconnects it from previously collected data.
Opting out does not stop adverts from appearing — it means the adverts you see will be less relevant to you.
You can read how Google uses information from partner sites and apps here:
We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, both provided by Google, to understand how our Apps are
used in aggregate and to identify and fix crashes and performance problems. This helps us decide which
features to improve and which bugs to fix.
The information these services collect is pseudonymous and is analysed at an aggregate level. We do not
attempt to identify individual users from it, and we do not combine it with any information that identifies
you personally.
WaveBit Studios may publish general-audience Apps and, where applicable, Apps designed for children and
families. Each App’s Google Play store listing identifies its applicable target audience and content
classification. The privacy practices applicable to a particular App depend on its features, target audience,
and applicable legal requirements.
7.1 Apps directed to children and families
For any App that is directed to children, or that appears in the Designed for Families programme, the
following applies without exception:
We do not knowingly collect, request or store personal information from children. There are no user
accounts, no sign-in, no registration and no requirement to provide a name, email address, photograph or
date of birth.
There are no social features: no free-text chat, no user-to-user messaging, no user-generated content
sharing, and no public profiles.
Only non-personalised adverts are served. We configure AdMob with child-directed treatment and the “under
the age of consent” setting, and we restrict advert content to a family-appropriate maturity rating.
Advert formats and placement follow the Google Play Families Policy — for example, we do not show
disruptive interstitial adverts at the start of gameplay or at critical moments, and adverts carry a clear
and easily operable close control.
In-app purchases and any links out of the App (for example, to our website or to a store listing) are
placed behind a parental gate where Google Play requires one.
We do not use persistent identifiers to build behavioural profiles of children or to serve interest-based
advertising to children.
7.2 Legal framework
In relation to children, we design our Apps to comply with:
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and its rules, in the United States.
The Google Play Families Policy and the Designed for Families programme requirements.
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), including its provisions treating persons under
eighteen years of age as children and regulating verifiable parental consent, tracking, behavioural
monitoring and targeted advertising directed at children.
The GDPR’s provisions on children’s data, where applicable in the European Economic Area and the United
Kingdom.
7.3 Parents and guardians
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, or
you have any question about how one of our Apps works, please contact us using the details in section 18. If
we discover that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
8. Device permissions
Our Apps request only the permissions they need. Typically these are:
Internet and network state — to load adverts and content and to check whether you are online.
Notifications (optional) — to send reminders or updates relating to the App. You can decline this
permission or turn notifications off at any time in your device settings, and the App will continue to work.
Vibration — to provide haptic feedback during gameplay or interaction.
Storage or photo access (only in Apps that offer it) — to let you save or import a file when you
specifically choose to. This processing happens on your device; the files are not uploaded to us.
We do not request access to contacts, SMS, call logs, camera, microphone or precise location unless a core
feature of a particular App requires it, in which case the App will ask you at the moment the feature is used
and will explain why.
9. How we use information
We use the information described above in order to:
Operate, maintain and deliver the Apps and their features.
Create, authenticate, maintain and manage user accounts where an App provides account functionality.
Provide account-based features, synchronize applicable App progress or settings where supported, and
maintain account security.
Verify account ownership and help prevent unauthorized access, fraud, abuse and security incidents.
Display advertisements and measure their performance, which is how our free Apps are funded.
Deliver in-app purchases and restore them if you reinstall an App.
Understand which features are used, so we can improve existing Apps and decide what to build next.
Diagnose, reproduce and fix crashes, bugs and performance problems.
Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, invalid advert traffic, abuse and security incidents.
Respond to your support requests and privacy requests.
Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
10. Legal bases for processing
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases
under the GDPR:
Consent — for personalised advertising and for non-essential analytics. You may withdraw consent at any
time.
Performance of a contract — to provide the App and to deliver any in-app purchase you make.
Legitimate interests — to keep our Apps secure and functioning, to fix crashes, and to prevent fraud and
invalid advert traffic.
Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.
If you are located in India, we process personal data on the basis of your consent or for legitimate uses as
permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
11. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the limited circumstances set out below.
Service providers — Google LLC and its affiliates, which provide services including AdMob, Firebase
Authentication, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Google Play Billing, where applicable to a
particular App. They process the information described in this policy to provide these services.
Legal and safety — where we are required to disclose information by law, regulation, court order, subpoena
or a lawful request from a public authority, or where disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect our
rights, investigate fraud, or protect the safety of any person.
Business transfer — if the WaveBit Studios business or any of our Apps is transferred to another party,
information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will post a notice in this policy before your
information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
12. International data transfers
We are based in India, and the service providers we use operate global infrastructure. This means information
may be stored or processed on servers located outside your country, including in the United States and the
European Union. Google applies safeguards for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved
by the European Commission, and we rely on those safeguards. Wherever your information is processed, it
remains subject to this Privacy Policy.
13. How long we keep information
Where an App provides account functionality, account information and account-associated App data are
retained while the account remains active or for as long as necessary to provide the relevant App
functionality. When an account deletion request is completed, we delete the account and associated data,
except where certain information must be retained for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention,
security, legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements. Any retained information is kept only for the
period necessary for that purpose.
Analytics data is retained according to our Firebase retention settings, which are currently set to the
shortest practical period offered by Google. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be retained
indefinitely.
Crash reports are retained only as long as needed to diagnose and fix the underlying issue.
Support emails are retained for up to twenty-four months from the date the matter is resolved, in case you
contact us again about the same issue.
Purchase records are retained for as long as required by applicable tax, accounting and consumer
protection law.
14. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it
corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, to withdraw
consent, and to complain to a data protection authority.
Where an App provides account functionality, you may request deletion of your account and associated data
using the account deletion mechanism provided for that App. Depending on the App, account deletion may be
available through an in-App account settings option, an external account deletion request page, or another
clearly identified deletion request mechanism.
For Apps that do not provide account functionality, you may contact us at wavebitstudios@gmail.com regarding applicable privacy requests.
To make a request, email us at wavebitstudios@gmail.com. We
will respond within thirty (30) days, or sooner where the law requires it. We may ask for information
sufficient to verify your identity or account ownership before acting on a request. We will not discriminate
against you for exercising your rights.
In some cases, particularly for Apps without accounts, the most effective additional steps may be to reset or
delete your advertising identifier in your device settings and to uninstall the App.
15. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including transmitting data
over encrypted HTTPS connections and relying on the security infrastructure of Google Play, AdMob and
Firebase. However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is
completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Third-party links and services
Our Apps and adverts shown within them may contain links to third-party websites, stores or applications that
we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to read the
privacy policy of any third party before providing information to it.
17. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Apps, the services we use, or
the law. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this document and publish the new
version at the same address. If we make a material change — for example, adding a new advertising provider or
a new category of data collection — we will give prominent notice within the affected App or on its store
listing before the change takes effect.
If we make a material change to how we handle information collected from children, we will obtain verifiable
parental consent where the law requires it.
18. Contact us
If you have any question, concern or complaint about this Privacy Policy or about how we handle information,
please contact us:
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before downloading or using any
application published by WaveBit Studios.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and WaveBit Studios, the
trading name used by an independent individual mobile application developer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
(“WaveBit Studios”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By downloading, installing, accessing or using any application published by WaveBit Studios (each, an “App”),
you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not
download or use the App, and you should uninstall it.
If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may use an App only with the involvement and
consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use
of the App.
2. Licence to use our Apps
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable
and revocable licence to download and install the App on a device that you own or control, and to use it for
your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
The App is licensed to you, not sold. We and our licensors retain all rights that are not expressly granted
to you in these Terms. Your use of the App must also comply with the applicable store terms, including the
Google Play Terms of Service.
3. Things you must not do
You agree that you will not, and will not permit anyone else to:
Copy, modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works based on the App, except to the extent that this
restriction cannot be excluded by law.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App, except
to the extent that this restriction cannot be excluded by law.
Remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice contained in the App.
Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute, publish or otherwise make the App available to any third
party.
Circumvent, disable or interfere with any security feature, licence check or advert-serving mechanism in
the App, or use cheats, automation software, bots, modified clients or emulators to gain an unfair advantage
or to generate invalid advert impressions or clicks.
Use the App in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, or that interferes with another person’s
use of the App.
Use the App, or any part of it, to develop a competing product, or for competitive analysis.
If you breach any of these restrictions, your licence terminates automatically and we may take any further
action available to us under law.
4. Advertising
Our Apps are funded by advertising. By using an App, you acknowledge and agree that adverts may be displayed
within it, including banner, interstitial, rewarded and native adverts.
Adverts are supplied by Google AdMob. We do not create, control, endorse or verify the content of third-party
adverts, and we are not responsible for any product, service, offer or website promoted in an advert. Any
dealing you have with an advertiser is solely between you and that advertiser. If you believe an advert shown
in one of our Apps is inappropriate or misleading, please report it to us and we will raise it with our
advertising provider.
Where an App offers a paid option to remove adverts, that option removes the advert formats specified in the
App at the time of purchase.
5. In-app purchases, virtual items and refunds
Some Apps offer optional one-time in-app purchases, such as removal of adverts or the purchase of in-game
coins, currency, levels or other virtual items.
Payment. All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Prices are shown in the App
before you confirm, are inclusive of applicable taxes where required, and may vary by country. We do not
handle or store your payment details.
Virtual items have no real-world value. Any coins, currency, items, levels or other
virtual content are licensed to you for use within the App only. They cannot be redeemed for cash or
anything of monetary value, cannot be transferred or sold outside the App, and you acquire no ownership or
property right in them.
Refunds. Purchases are generally final. Refunds are handled by Google Play in accordance
with the Google Play refund policy and any refund rights you have under applicable consumer law, which are
not affected by these Terms. Please raise refund requests through Google Play in the first instance; if that
is not possible, contact us and we will help where we can.
Loss of virtual items. Virtual items may be lost if you uninstall the App, clear its
data, change device, or if the App is discontinued. We are not obliged to compensate you for such loss,
except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Purchases by minors. If you allow a minor to use your device, you are responsible for
purchases made on it. We recommend enabling purchase authentication in the Google Play Store settings and
using Google’s parental controls.
6. Intellectual property
The Apps, including their source code, artwork, characters, graphics, user interfaces, sounds, music, text,
level designs and the WaveBit Studios name and logo, are owned by WaveBit Studios or its licensors and are
protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property right to you. You may not use the WaveBit Studios
name or logo without our prior written permission, except to refer to the Apps fairly and accurately.
Some Apps include third-party assets, libraries, fonts or sounds licensed to us. Attributions, where
required, are shown within the relevant App.
7. Third-party services
Our Apps integrate services provided by Google, including AdMob, Firebase and Google Play Billing. Your use
of those services is also governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the
availability, performance, content or practices of any third-party service.
8. Updates, changes and availability
We may release updates to an App from time to time, including bug fixes, new features and changes to existing
features. Depending on your device settings, updates may install automatically. Some updates may be necessary
for an App to continue working properly.
We may also modify, suspend, limit or discontinue any App, feature or service at any time, with or without
notice, and we may withdraw an App from Google Play. We have no obligation to provide support, maintenance or
continued availability for any App.
You are responsible for your own device, internet connection and any data charges incurred while using an
App.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Apps are provided “as is” and “as available”, without
warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. We do not warrant that an App will be
uninterrupted, error-free, secure, free of viruses, compatible with every device, or that any defect will be
corrected.
You use the Apps at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for any loss of data or damage to
your device resulting from that use.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or
limited, including rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or equivalent consumer protection
legislation in your country.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WaveBit Studios will not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue,
goodwill, data or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use,
any App — whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory, and even if
we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in
connection with an App and these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to us or
through Google Play for that App in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or
(b) one thousand Indian Rupees (₹1,000).
Again, nothing in this section limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud
or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WaveBit Studios against any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage,
cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your breach of these Terms,
your misuse of an App, or your violation of any law or of the rights of a third party.
12. Termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use an App. You may end them at any time by ceasing to use the App and
uninstalling it.
We may suspend or terminate your licence immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we are
required to do so by law. On termination, the rights granted to you end and you must stop using and delete the
App. Sections 5 (in respect of amounts owed), 6, 9, 10, 11, 13 and 14 survive termination.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, their subject matter or
formation, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of
law principles.
The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or
in connection with these Terms. If you are a consumer resident in another country, this does not deprive you
of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, or of the right to bring
proceedings in the courts of that country where local law gives you that right.
14. General
Changes to these Terms. We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version
will be published at the same address with an updated date, and material changes will be notified within the
affected App or on its store listing. Continued use of an App after a change takes effect constitutes
acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, it will be
modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue
in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so
later.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign them in connection
with a transfer of our business or of an App, provided your rights are not materially reduced.
No third-party rights. These Terms do not create any right enforceable by a person who is
not a party to them, except that Google is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them
against you.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire
agreement between you and WaveBit Studios in relation to the Apps and supersede any prior agreement.
